[EN] “Theater at the table” is a meeting in which a story is spun out of the imagination and the participants become the characters of the story. The spinning of the story is enriched with game elements and various accessories that make both the meeting and the story more interesting and exciting. This is exactly what we proposed to the participants of the innovation, and the tests we conducted showed that such a formula of activities gives the elderly a lot of joy and satisfaction, helps them to open up, make friends, and may allow them to get out of social isolation.
[PL] „Teatr przy stole” jest to spotkanie, w trakcie którego wspólnie snuje się opowieść z wyobraźni, wczuwając się w jej bohaterów. Snucie opowieści wzbogacone jest o elementy gry i różne akcesoria, dzięki czemu zarówno spotkanie, jak i opowieść, stają się bardziej angażujące i emocjonujące. Dokładnie to zaproponowaliśmy uczestnikom i uczestniczkom innowacji, a przeprowadzone przez nas testy pokazały, że taka formuła zajęć daje osobom starszym dużo radości i satysfakcji, pomaga im się otworzyć, nawiązywać znajomości i może pozwolić im wyjść z towarzyskiej izolacji.
